Our Mission
NoiseFilter is an educational platform that addresses health and wellness through creative storytelling. Dr. MarkAlain Dery and Dr. Eric Griggs (“Doc Griggs”), two expert health communicators, distill complex medical concepts into fun, easily digestible lessons. Through whimsical animations, informative podcasts, and engaging livestreams, NoiseFilter strives to:

✓ Increase health literacy
✓ Promote health equity
The Doctors
Both Dr. Dery and Doc Griggs are highly credentialed health literacy educators and have been at the forefront of COVID-19 education since the beginning of 2020; together they offer a combined 50 years of medical experience. Before the pandemic, the two doctors broadcasted a weekly radio show in New Orleans, which developed into the 10-minute daily award-winning COVID NoiseFilter Podcast with over 80,000 listeners across the United States. Additionally, COVID NoiseFilter livestreams a daily one-hour Facebook show with up to 500 regular viewers.
Animated Video Series
NoiseFilter animations cover such subjects as mRNA vaccines and how they work, COVID variants and booster shots. The animated series will soon release a series about HIV medications designed to destigmatize HIV and people of trans experience. Topics NoiseFilter would love to explore are endless and include:
